"Hiking up SNOWDON" - Adam Coumas | S01 E47 | The Sin Bin Pod

This week comedian Adam Coumas joins The SinBin Pod with a birthday adventure that quickly turns into a survival story. What was supposed to be a lads’ hiking trip up Snowdon becomes a battle against storm-force winds, freezing sleet, zero visibility and a series of increasingly questionable decisions.

Armed with bargain hiking gear, far too much water, and an unhealthy amount of male ego, Adam ignores every warning sign and pushes on alone towards the summit after the rest of his group decide enough is enough. As the weather deteriorates and hikers begin turning back, Adam finds himself asking whether reaching the top is worth risking his life for. With no signal, no views waiting at the summit, and even the mountain railway shutting down because of the conditions, this is a hilarious story about stubbornness, misplaced determination, and discovering that sometimes the biggest challenge isn’t climbing a mountain—it’s admitting you should have turned around.

Expect:

✔ Adam’s annual birthday tradition that spirals completely out of control

✔ Hiking Snowdon during storm conditions with absolutely no preparation

✔ Six litres of water, budget hiking gear and some spectacularly bad planning

✔ Fellow hikers abandoning the climb while Adam doubles down and carries on alone

✔ The brutally honest reaction from Adam’s girlfriend that brings the whole story crashing back to earth

✔ Cox in the Corner: Marc asks Adam about his appearances on GB News

✔ Sinner or Winner: Comforting your boss through a drunken divorce breakdown to save your own job vs using David Attenborough documentaries to scare off an annoying housemate’s girlfriend

If you enjoy embarrassing travel stories, comedy podcasts, mountain disasters, hiking fails, stand-up comedians telling unbelievable true stories, and plenty of chaos between the hosts, this episode of The SinBin Pod is packed with laughs from start to finish.
