Growing up homeschooled in a faith-centered household, Jeffery often struggled with feeling different. As he entered adulthood, questions about identity, masculinity, career, belonging, and his relationship with God became increasingly difficult to ignore.

Jeffery opens up about seasons of frustration with his faith, comparing his life to others, struggling to accept himself, and questioning why the opportunities he wanted weren't happening on his timeline.

The conversation takes a deeply personal turn as Jeffery shares the shame he carried around his appearance, being homeschooled, living with celiac disease, and his struggle with pornography addiction. For years, he believed parts of himself needed to remain hidden.

That began to change when he found a community where vulnerability was met with compassion rather than judgment. Jeffery describes the night he finally admitted he wasn't happy and shared his addiction with a group of men. Instead of experiencing the rejection he feared, he found love, accountability, and support.
