Lindsay Clancy's Foreperson Reveals WHAT About the Holdout?!

The foreperson of the Lindsay Clancy murder trial jury is speaking publicly, and what she is describing from inside that deliberation room challenges the assumption that a hung jury means the evidence was close.

Roni Carlson told NBC Boston that the holdout juror admitted he had reasonable doubt about Clancy's guilt. She began filling out the verdict forms. Three separate documents. She signed each one. Then the holdout said he was not going to vote not guilty by reason of insanity, despite his own admission.

The jury was deadlocked 11-to-1 at Plymouth Superior Court. Eleven jurors favored acquitting Clancy on the grounds that she was not criminally responsible due to postpartum psychosis. One would not move. Jurors sent a note to Judge William Sullivan saying the holdout was not following the court's reasonable doubt instructions. Sullivan questioned each juror individually and denied Kevin Reddington's motion to remove the holdout.

Juror Kellie Farina said the 911 call from Patrick Clancy will stay with her permanently. Other jurors described leaving the courthouse physically ill after listening to testimony about the deaths of Cora, Dawson, and Callan on January 24, 2023.
