The World Cup of Film Sequels (Groups A–D)

Everyone says the sequel is never as good as the original.

We're about to find out.

Alright Fans and Crazy Ginger Cabbie begin the search for the greatest film sequel ever made, putting 32 follow-ups through the World Cup Of treatment.

Back to the Future Part II, 22 Jump Street, Adulthood, Beverly Hills Cop II, Taken 2, The Godfather Part II, Die Hard 2, Teen Wolf Too and loads more are all in the draw.

Forget the critics. We're judging them on the stuff that actually matters: rewatchability, nostalgia, iconic scenes, quotability and whether you'd still happily stick the film on tonight.

This free episode features Groups A–D, as the first batch of sequels fight for survival.

Some are genuine masterpieces. Some became bigger than the films that came before them. Others are here because we bloody love them.
