Ep. 32: The Power of Acceptance + Having a Health Team with Endo with Jessica Kelly

In this week's episode, I sit down with fellow endo babe, Jessica Kelly, RDN, LDN who is the founder, owner, and lead nutrition therapist at Nutrition That Heals Powered by Berry Street. She prides herself in being an anti-diet, insurance-based dietitian.

She has experience working in acute care, outpatient dialysis, as well as long-term care. She started her private practice part-time in March 2023 and is now seeing clients full-time. She has been grateful enough to know how powerful good nutrition can be, but after being diagnosed with endometriosis in March 2022, she had to fully focus on the importance of anti-inflammatory foods, proper hydration, and self-care. This diagnosis motivated her to put pen to paper and get her business started - she wanted to teach what she had learned to others - food should be nourishing.

We open up the episode with her sharing more about her journey with endo, discuss the importance of advocating for yourself + how having a health team can help us manage symptoms, being a type 2 enneagram/ empath with a chronic illness + SO SO much more.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend (Bernard), cat (Gary), and golden retriever (Lola), reading, playing with makeup, and cooking dinners in her and her boyfriend's new home.

Please reach out to Jessica to inquire about services at jkelly@berrystreet.co, check out her website at www.nutrition-that-heals.com, and follow her on Instagram at @nutritionthathealsllc.
