4 TYPES OF CONTENT THAT AREN’T BLOG POSTS

#content #blog #post #marketing #digitalmarketing

Everyone knows .

But in 2022, #blogging can’t be the only thing your business is doing.

With the number of social channels out there that you can use to reach customers, expanding your #content repertoire (and reach) is an important part of every companies’ long-term #content #marketing plan.

Hi, i’m cally from the international institute of digital #marketing. Here are 4 different types of #content besidess #blogs 1. Videos

The rise of video was inevitable.

Video can inform, entertain, and captivate. It can do all 3 of those things at the same time, and it can also do them exclusively. Because of that, video can be effective at almost any point in the customer value journey.

2. Infographics

People like infographics because they can deliver a lot of useful information. They also make that information very consumableand easy to understand. And clarity, more than anything, makes people want to buy your product or use your service.

3. Tools

The ability to interact with something and use it in your own unique way, not only makes it useful, but it also makes it memorable. That’s why tools are such a good #content type: people can get value out of it, and they can do it on their own accord.

The only problem is knowing what tool you need to provide in the first place. If you’re in digital #marketing, maybe it’s a tool that helps your clients map out their #marketing plan. If you’re a personal fitness trainer, maybe it’s a tool that helps your clients track their fitness and dietary habits. Truthfully, the options are endless.

4. Challenges

Challenges aren’t really meant to generate new customers. It’s meant to keep your existing ones happy.

They can be a great way to keep your already happy customers engaged or re-engage some customers that maybe haven’t purchased or opened your emails in a while. They allow your customers to actually accomplish something cool, while also keeping your brand at the front of their mind.

HOW DO SEARCHENGINES WORK AND WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

HOW DO SEARCHENGINES WORK AND WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

#searchengines##backlinks ##rankpages #searchengines work by crawling the web using bots called spiders. These web crawlers effectively follow links from page to page to find new content to add to the search index. When you use a search engine, relevant results are extracted from the index and ranked using an algorithm. Hi, i’m cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Let’s discuss some search engine basics What are #searchengines? #searchengines are tools that find and rank web contentmatching a user’s search query. Each search engine consists of two main parts: Search index. A digital library of information about web pages. Search algorithm(s). Computer program(s) that rank matching results from the search index. Examples of popular #searchengines include google, bing, and duckduckgo. What is the aim of #searchengines? Every search engine aims to provide the best, most relevant results for users. That’s how they obtain or maintain market share—at least in theory. How do #searchengines make money? #searchengines have two types of search results: Organic results from the search index. You can’t pay to be here. Paid results from advertisers. You can pay to be here. Each time someone clicks on a paid search result, the advertiser pays the search engine. This is known as pay-per-click (ppc) advertising. This is why market share matters. More users means more ad clicks and more revenue. Why should you care how #searchengines work? Understanding how #searchengines find, index and rank content will help you to rank your website in organic search results for relevant and popular keywords. If you can rank high for these queries, you’ll get more clicks and organic traffic to your content. Which is the most popular search engine? Google. It has a 92% market share. Google is the search engine that most seo professionals and website owners care about because it has the potential to send more traffictheir way than any other search engine. Youtube Seo: 7 Tactics For Getting More Views,Subscribers, And Traffic

Youtube Seo: 7 Tactics For Getting More Views,Subscribers, And Traffic

# youtubeseo #subscribers #traffic It might seem weird to think of youtube as a search engine, but that’s exactly what it is. Specifically, it’s a search engine for videos. Because youtube is its own search engine, it has its own seo best practices. Just like you want to get your site high up on the serps, you want to get your videos high up on the youtube serps. Hi, i’m cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here is a list of techniques that will provide you with the visibility you need on youtube. 1. Find video keywords to improve #youtubeseo Keywords for youtube are a bit different from keywords that appear on search engines like google or bing. For example, you’ll often see youtube keywords that start with “how to.” You can useubersuggestto check how many monthly searches those keywords get. As a general rule of thumb, your selected video keywords should get several hundred monthly searches. Just like you’d do keyword research for normal seo, you should also do keyword research for #youtubeseo. 2. Optimize your video title Do you know how you always optimize your headlinesfor written content? The same goes for youtube. You want to include your focus keyword in your video title, and you should also solve a problem with your title. 3. Optimize your youtube tags Tagging is one of the best seo features that youtube provides. Tagging allows you to enter relevant keywords that help your videos get more views. Use tags that are super relevant to your topic. Don’t use too many tags. Around 10 to 12 are enough. 4. Ask people to leave comments If your videos get a lot of comments, that tells youtube your videos are popular. Just like google, youtube prioritizes content that’s popular. Comments are one of the metrics youtube uses to decide what people like the most. It’s a good idea to end your video with a question to get a discussion started. 5. Encourage people to #subscriber Subscribing is a big deal on youtube. It’s one of the factors youtube’s algorithms use to rank videos. Liking or commenting on a video is a one-time action, but subscribing means that people will see your content on a regular basis. For youtube, that’s a giant factor that reflects the amount of value you provide. 6. Create an eye-catching thumbnail Your video thumbnail isn’t a ranking factor that youtube uses directly, but it still has a huge impact on your seo. A good thumbnail means more clicks, and that means better seo. Make sure your thumbnail stands out and tells viewers what your video is all about. 7. Add closed captions You might know that youtube videos support closed captions. These are meant for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, but they have an unexpected seo benefit. Closed captions arecrawlable by search engines! That means you’ll get a nice seo boost if you enable closed captions. Youtube does supportautomatic captioning, but it’s not perfect. You can edit those captions, or you can add your own. Whatever you do, make sure the captions are accurate. HOW TO CHOOSE WHICH TOP LEVEL DOMAIN TO USE

HOW TO CHOOSE WHICH TOP LEVEL DOMAIN TO USE

: #domain #seo #marketing Buying a #domain name is exciting. It means you’re taking the first steps to establish yourself and create a professional website. But, it can also be overwhelming. Picking the right top-level #domain (tld) is just as important as choosing the rest of your #domain name. You want the best option for your business type to establish trust with your target audience and one that’s memorable. Hi, i’m cally, from the international institute of digital #marketing. In this guide, you’ll learn how to choose which top level #domain to use How to choose the perfect top-level #domain Think of your #domain name as your brand’s search representative. Some tlds may hinder your branding because of spam associations, while others could improve your search result rankings. When to use .com #domain extension If you run a business, blog, or another professional website, a .com tld is probably the way to go. The .com stands for commercial. It’s one of the best tld #domains to use because people view it as credible, trustworthy, and more memorable than other obscure #domain extensions. When to use .org #domain extension The .org stands for “organization” and is commonly used by nonprofits, social causes, groups, and clubs. Using the .org extension can give your brand more credibility than other extension options. When to use .net #domain extension The .net #domain extension is another option for businesses, but it’s not a great fit for everyone. The .net stands for network. If your business has nothing to do with tech, it usually won’t be the best option. Conclusion A top-level #domain is an integral part of your website’s structure. Before you buy one, take the time to look at the different tld options and select the best one to represent your business online. It’s much easier to start your website on the right foot than have to go through a site migration process, hindering your bottom line and #seo content #marketing efforts. 5 AI TOOLS TO HELP YOU GET SMARTER IN YOUR CONTENT MARKETING

5 AI TOOLS TO HELP YOU GET SMARTER IN YOUR CONTENT MARKETING

#Artificialintelligence can help you improve your #ContentMarketing strategy by helping make sense of the huge amount of dataavailable to take more effective necessary actions. It can also help with your #ContentMarketing tactics. Hi, I’m Cally, from the International Institute of Digital Marketing. These are 5 AI tools to help you be smarter in your #ContentMarketing 1. Develop a predictive journey Most of your website visitors are anonymous. They visit a page on your site, showing an interest in your content, and usually bounce after the first page. But what if they stayed because your site was able to guide them on a better journey? With AI assistance, you can use data to predict a visitor’s actions and deliver the right content for that visitor to get them one step further in their buying journey. 2. Text mining When stripped to their basic parts, web pages are just strings of texts. Analyzing that text can reveal words vital to engagement. While Google does this well, AI can help you do it too. 3. Content creation AI content creation tools are especially useful for straightforward, simple content. For example, if you’re trying to create a simple page with some important details, you can supply these details to the AI engine. In turn, it builds context around these details and creates the content for your page. 4. Content editing Apart from creating content, AI can also help you to improve your content. A tool like Atomic Reach analyzes a piece of content using its 23-point system. With this kind of tool, you can maintain a voice that resonates with your audience. It also provides suggestions on steps to take to improve your content and reach. 5. Personalized landing pages Visitors don’t all act on the same offersand calls to action. That’s why delivering the right landing page is a challenge. AI can help you track a visitor’s intereststo display a more personalized landing page. 3 STRATEGIES TO CONNECT WITH YOUR AUDIENCE

3 STRATEGIES TO CONNECT WITH YOUR AUDIENCE

#audience #marketing Hi, i’m cally, from the international institute of digital #marketing. Let’s look at 3 strategies to connect with your #audience. #marketing: finding the mutual truth with customers The intersection of what matters to brands and what matters to #audiences is the mutual truth, or mutual resonance. You can never know the real truth about any customer or any prospect that you’re working for. It’s our job as marketers to see that from many, many different sides. To make sure that anything that you are producing, is truly engaging and relevant to them. To find mutual truth with customers, dig deep, challenge assumptions, and explore the unexpected. Be data smart, not data driven Data can help guide decisions, but it need not control. You should not be a slave to data. To understand people and see the whole story, look beyond the data. For effective relationships with customers and the experiences you build for them, you have to understand every piece of the puzzle, and the puzzle as a whole. When you look at data to support your #marketing, always explore the unexpected and get rid of your own perceptions and assumptions. Evaluate multiple data types to get the picture It’s important that you have multiple data sources and that you have the tools and the methodologies to analyze each one. Look at the following data sources: ➢ Linguistic data. ➢ Visual data. ➢ Numeric data. Numeric and linguistic data is useful and commonly used. Marketers work with numeric data all the time – social media engagement statistics, google analytics, #marketing dashboards, etc. Visual data is less used, but powerful. A picture is worth a thousand words. Images can augment your story in a more powerful way than spoken words can do alone. Use a data trifecta for a complete understanding of customers. Ask customers to share perspectives using new formats (e.g., visual data). How to create a winning Marketing strategy in 5 steps

How to create a winning Marketing strategy in 5 steps

1. Have your market research data ready It’s crucial to build your #marketingstrategy on data, not assumptions. Remember that even cheap, quick, and imperfect market research is better than no research at all. Here’s what you should have before developing a #marketingstrategy: qualitative market data quantitative market data market segmentation competitive analysis 2. Decide which segments you’ll target The second step in developing a #marketingstrategy is to decide which segments of the market you’ll go after. If you’ve done a good job with your segmentation, your target segments tend to be pretty obvious and easy to choose. To choose your target segments, ask yourself these six questions: Does your product align with what the segment wants? Does it bring you the most value if you increase your market share there? Do you have the sales and marketing resources to increase your market share there? How difficult is it going to be to increase your market share there? Does this segment influence any other segments? If so, how? What are the trade-offs if you shift your focus on new segments? 3. Appeal to your target market with proper positioning Positioning is how your target market should perceive your brand. It’s the intended brand image that consists of associations people have with your brand and products. Positioning allows you to differentiate from your competitors, and in some cases, even influence how the target market perceives your competitors. When you think about positioning, you need to take into account these three aspects of it, also known as 3 cs of positioning: Company Customers Competitors 4. Choose a few brand codes to become distinctive A brand code, aka distinctive asset, is anything that you use consistently in your communications. You can think about it as your sidekick to positioning. The most common brand code is your logo and visual style. Your brand codes should be unique, which makes you distinctive, and ideally famous, which enables your existing audience to connect the dots easily. 5. Set strategic objectives for the year ahead You need clearly defined marketing objectives to guide your marketing efforts and provide benchmarks for evaluation. It’s all that’s left to do for your strategy now. Your marketing objectives should align with the widely-used smart criteria: Specific— clearly stating the desirable outcome, answers “who, what, when, how much, …” Measurable— you must be able to track progress with key performance indicators (kpis). Achievable— be bold with your goals, but also realistic; use current growth as a benchmark. Relevant - does the objective align with your overall marketing and business strategy? Timely— set up a time frame for achieving the goal. #googledigitalmarketingcertification #digitalmarketingmanager #digitalmarketinginternship #digitalmarketinginstitute

HOW TO MERGE INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS

HOW TO MERGE INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS

: #instagram #marketing #content Managing one social media accountis a lot of work. In many cases, managing two or more can be a nightmare. That’s why it’s advisable to merge #instagram accounts when a business consolidation occurs. Remember, #instagram doesn’t allow the merging of two or more accounts. However, there are ways to circumvent this. Hi, i’m cally, from the international institute of digital #marketing. Here’s how you can merge #instagram accounts. Create a new account One way to merge your two accounts is to create a new account and manually transfer the #contentfrom the other accounts to the new account. You can make this process easier by using a third-party tool to repost your #content. This lengthy and tedious process also has the downside of losing all the likes and comments on your posts. However, it’s one of the best ways to ensure that all your #content from your other accounts is in one place. When creating an account to merge your other #instagram accounts, it’s advisable toset the live accounts to private. Doing so helps avoid any new engagement while you’re moving your #content. Move your followers There’s no way to move your followers to your new account automatically. The only way then is to create a post notifying your followers of your new account and asking them to follow. Make it easy for them to do so by tagging your new account in your posts. You can also edit your biosto redirect your followers to your new account. Delete defunct accounts Once all #content has been moved to the account, and you’re sure most followers have come on board, you should delete the old accounts. While this may sound counterintuitive, it’s necessary to prevent people from following and engaging with the defunct accounts. These are precious interactions that would better serve you on your new account.
