Episode 302 - aLiveShow App Creators Talk About the Future of Stand-up Comedy

This week the boys have a pair of very special guests, the creators of the aLiveShow stand-up comedy open mic app, Forrest Haigh and Ruben Cagnie. The guys start off fielding questions from the chat such as, "Who was your favorite superhero?" This leads to talk about a now recurring theme of He-Man and the Thundercats, among others.

After the housekeeping is all done the guys get into the meat of the show and start hearing more about the aLiveShow app, which is a full spectrum social media app based around stand-up comedy and supporting stand-up comedians. It works as a kind of incubator to try out jokes in front of audiences as well as a meeting place to network with other comedians. The dorks talk about how it makes stand-up accessible regardless of geography or time zones and some of the exciting plans Forrest and Ruben have for their digital platform. They also touch on Justin's desire to try stand-up as well as Forrest and Ruben's former Swedish cover band called Under Kontrol.

When this week's Throw-Down comes in for a landing it's no surprise when it's two classic comedians battling it out. Robin Williams (in his prime) vs George Carlin (in his prime) battle to the death. Who will come out on top? You'll just have to listen in to find out won't you?
