Winning as a Family with Liz and Nancy Jorgensen (S17E47)

The journey of Gwen Jorgensen in the triathlon sphere has been absolutely groundbreaking. From being Olympic Athlete of the Year twice, to winning the first ever triathlon gold medal for the US - Gwen has truly made history for women in sport. And, as discussed in the episode, she couldn't have done it without her family.

This week, Haley and Alyssa chat with Gwen's mom and sister - Nancy and Liz. Co-writing Go, Gwen, go: A Family's Journey to Olympic Gold, Nancy and Liz share what it is like to support such a world famous athlete. The duo discusses their writing process, and further, how Gwen's childhood shaped her into where she is today.
