More about this winery: Cantine Volpi is a family winery that produces wine in Tortona, south of Piemonte, since more than 100 years. Marco represents the fifth generation of the Volpi family. After a few years in the beer business, in December 2019 Marco entered the family winery and, together with the father Carlo, he is now playing an active role in the company, dedicating and dividing his time between the vineyards, the winery and customers’ visits. Born in Mexico, with a mother from Hawaii via Korea and an anthropologist father from New York via Paris, he was weaned on exotic and delicious foods. Marc and his photographer wife Kim are the authors of 14 books including a pioneering series of illustrated wine-food-travel books: The Wine Roads of Europe, The Wine Roads of France, The Wine Roads of Italy (Premio Barbi Colombini), and The Wine Roads of Spain.
