Mark Collins has fast become renowned as a successful entrepreneur and consultant in corporate cannabis; as well as an advisor for new businesses and entrepreneurs.
Since 2015, he has helped build brands such as Bloom Farms and Otto. He also has raised over $260MM in capital for companies as diverse as MedMen and Harborside across coffee and cannabis; most recently raising $9.4MM round for hemp-product maker HemptownUSA in 2020.
Before making the pivot to cannabis, he worked with some of the biggest brands in the world such as CNN, P&G, Kraft Foods & TimeWarner.
In this episode, Mark discusses the history of cannabis and it’s Irish connections, why he pivoted to this industry, and the variety of opportunities for entrepreneurs to make an impact in this multibillion dollar industry.
