From the minute Julie and I met we were best friends. I always had this joke that I was the devil on the shoulder and she was the angel because she was always bailing me out of trouble. Her family and her home welcomed me in during a time that my own home had become such a place of hardship. I didnt want to remember what it was like to go home because my dad was gone my mom was grieving. Julie and her family were a second family and an escape for me. Julie’s death shattered the foundation of my world and it was completely avoidable. On this episode, Julie’s little sister Christiane Crowder joins me to have a candid conversation about the loss of Julie when she was only 29 years old.
