Our Kids Are Struggling Now More Than Ever | The Effect The pandemic & Technology Have Had on Today's Youth With Therapist & Clinical Counselor Dr. Robert Scholz

As I’m sure many of you know going through adolescence has always had its difficulties. And with the development of social media, online bullying, and the pandemic it has become an even harder time for kids nowadays to navigate. This episode we will be going over the effect the pandemic has had on our children, how we as parents can help with bullying prevention and more with today’s guest licensed marriage and family therapist and clinical counselor Dr. Robert Scholz. Being a mother of two helping my kids grow up to be caring and kind individuals has always been the most important to me. However, with the internet desensitizing our kids to the effect words can have on others and the pandemic hindering their development being a parent has now become more difficult than ever. With suicide rates in kids rising, they are struggling now more than ever and it is our job to give our kids the tools to help our kids get through it. I am so happy to have had Dr.Scholz on this episode as he has had over 25 years of experience in counseling and had great insight to give on what's happening with today's youth. It is incredible what he has done for so many people with consulting schools on massive traumas like shootings and bullying, and working on post- prevention.
