LONG PAUSE As you lie on the soft silk bed Calmness grows around you Like plants in a garden. And your thoughts clenched like a fist in your mind, Let go and soften. LONG PAUSE And the more your skin Sinks deep into the silk Lavishing in how it feels, all your body tension melts. And the softness you embrace through every fiber thatâs you Opens your body to movement with gentle grace through and through. Imagine youâre a butterfly Rising from the silken bed Your arms turn into wings, To the sky they spread. PAUSE Your wings are magnificent like no other They sing together, A mosaic of bright colors. PAUSE As your wings rise with a breath of air beneath them You glide along relaxed and light To the nearest flowerâs stem. PAUSE You make your way to The heart of the rose And each satiny petal softens your your body and calls your soul. PAUSE And you sip the nectar of the rose, the liquor of the divine, and snuggle deep inside the petals enjoying the sublime. PAUSE As you wait for another breeze to lift your wings above, You see high in the trees A snowy white dove. PAUSE The dove nods her understanding In a way that you hear it You feel overwhelming love And a connection to Spirit. PAUSE The time comes to take flight To say adieu to this rose And then glide To the next sight. PAUSE Off to a daffodil, a blazing yellow blossom, swaying to and fro, A sweet treasure in her column. PAUSE And as you alight on the top of the flower You notice a bee, a honeybee, âneath the daffodilâs tower. PAUSE So you descend to the daffodilâs cushiony petals, Spread out your wings Into the softness, To rest just a little. PAUSE While the bee goes to work Kissing her flower Making Mother Natureâs elixir So you bless her and allow her. PAUSE Then the bee flies away, and itâs your time to drink a natural cocktail From the flowerâs brink. PAUSE And the rest and the drink restore your power, And off you sail to Your next garden flower. PAUSE While sailing across the garden in summer A wood fairy joins you And you soar through natureâs colors. PAUSE The fairyâs wings flutter Like glittery green glass And she kindly offers to help with your task. PAUSE So together you coast And she leads you to a meadow with flowers swaying in the wind, And trees casting shadows. PAUSE Purple, gold and white blooms dot the land as for miles Itâs beautiful and inviting So you thank the fairy with a smile. PAUSE And as you sip natureâs potion, You nod to your fairy friend, She smiles and sings fairy songs so you join in. PAUSE And after youâve had your fill Of Mother Natureâs spirits Itâs off to a hill With a single flower near it. PAUSE This one tiny flower Leans and reaches for the sun And opens a bed for you Where you become one. PAUSE With the soft, silky petals Like the sheets of your bed Youâre at home now, Soft and safe now, So gently rest your head. LONG PAUSE Inhale deeply and fully again, with a breath that gently buries into your muscles, dissolving all the tension in you and turning the muscles soft like creamy butter. LONG PAUSE As you continue to breathe, allow the breath into your neck and shoulders, deliciously dissipating pain and stress there, and replacing it with deep relaxation. LONG PAUSE Now follow the breath as it Curves along your spine, in and out, seeping into the back muscles, easing them, softening them, melting them into velvet. LONG PAUSE When you inhale your next divine breath, feel it clear your arms and legs, of all tension, soothing any stress, so your body feels cushy and open. PAUSE Imagine your body open and weightless, drifting like a feather, dreamy and tranquil, into the peaceful silence of space. PAUSE As you float through infiniteness, you feel a connection to all thatâs around, a sense of comfort, of being one, and it lulls you into deeper relaxation. PAUSE Now, imagine the Universe carrying you to a glistening star, a star that reaches her arms of light to you, and cradles you in healing warmth. PAUSE Visualize feeling safe in the starâs arms, Her abundant light healing any pain, and gently warming it away, until you meld with the star and become one. PAUSE Now, you drift in space, dotted with more stars and galaxies lit up like Christmas lights, until you reach the moon and feel her pull. PAUSE The coy moon tugs at you and winks, then shines her healing beams into your heart, freeing pain tucked in hidden corners. PAUSE The moonlight shimmers and pulses in you, it vibrates old scars and recent pains, massages and washes them clean, Then carries them away. PAUSE Now imagine floating farther into the cosmos, like an ethereal vapor. The silence mends your stress, and you embrace the profound rest and infinite peace. PAUSE Time is an illusion to the universe, and you glide from one heavenly body to another, becoming more free of pain, hurt and anxiety. PAUSE Now, take a minute and bask in the joy and healing that the heavens have poured into you, deep into the physical and spiritual core. PAUSE And, take one more deep cleansing breath, a breath that draws in the healing stillness of the Universe, healing that melts in and all around you healing that you gratefully surrender to. PAUSE Now, embrace your surrender, your openness that leads to gifts, and enjoy the blessing of sleep, the blessing of healing, of your physical, emotional, and spiritual being. Softening your eyes and cheeks of rose. Ebbing the tension in your forehead and brows, and easing the muscles all around. LONG PAUSE Inhale deeply from the well of your soul, and then release the breath, letting it unfold before you, with a gentle call Pulling you into your deepest walls. LONG PAUSE As you breathe deeply, with tranquil grace Relaxation touches your body and face with long, smooth, and even breaths bathing you fully, so you can rest. LONG PAUSE You may notice that sometimes, Your thoughts are tight within your mind keeping it turned on when you crave to unwind. LONG PAUSE Just breathe, and know that itâs okay, Let your thoughts loosen their grips and fade away. Itâs all right. Itâs all calm. A peaceful rain will be your balm. PAUSE As you travel inward where itâs quiet, In a place thatâs secret and private, imagine yourself on a beach with the tide flowing at your feet. PAUSE In the distance, clouds gather, Thunder purrs, and rain patters, A tense thought crosses your mind, then is carried away by the clouds in the sky. PAUSE And the thunder murmurs more, and the rain cascades in sheets. Now, itâs soothing to your soul and healing to your needs. PAUSE So, let your feet soak more in the seaâs lather Blue-green seafoam that tickles, then scatters. Feel the rain as it cleanses and moves within, And the thunder and your heartbeat make a connection. PAUSE And the rainshower and hushed thunder move with intention to your center. Where they blanket it in serenity,  While the wind sways you, restfully. PAUSE To your mind, the storm now delicately alights, clearing stray thoughts and opening you to light, while your head unties more and more thoughts, that float away on rain clouds and, for now, are lost. PAUSE Imagine you are free to relax and to release, the rest of that tension that leaves you with peace. The rain and the thunder, the storm clouds, too, disappear as you sleep in the stillness of your room. PAUSE And you feel your mind calm and in a new dream dimension thatâs free and sailing gently without any tension. Your body and soul are safe and warm. You created this peace with your magic thunderstorm. LONG PAUSE Now, see if you can become aware of the whole room around you. All the roomâs sights, sounds, and smells. and invite in happiness naturally fill you, As a smile spreads across your face. PAUSE Breathe in and deepen the awareness of your room. Look and listen for its rhythms, itâs life beyond the obvious, and the senses it touches within you. PAUSE Maybe a fan tickles your face with air, or the blinds rattle from a gentle breeze. Take a moment to connect with these rhythms, and let the joy they bring flow through you. PAUSE Now, calmly shift your awareness to a piece of furniture in the room, like a rocking chair that soothed you in the past, Or even your bed that has held you in its arms each night. PAUSE And as you gaze at the furniture, acknowledge your appreciation for it, how itâs supported you over time, Then, silently say, âGood night, furniture,â  and let happiness flow through you.  PAUSE Now, inhale a breath and become aware of the sounds of the room. Sounds that you hold close and that uplift your soul, like the cicadas buzzing outside the window or the tumble of the dryer beyond the wall. PAUSE And, as you listen to these sounds, remember how theyâve soothed you, even comforted you. And when youâre ready, silently say, âGood night, sounds,â and allow happiness to flow through you. PAUSE Now, fill your lungs again with a purifying breath and gently move your attention  to the scent of your room. Tinges of powder or perfume lingering in the air or the fragrance of night rain through an open window. PAUSE Inhale these scents deeply and richly, deep into you, and graciously accept how theyâve lightened your soul and heightened your awareness. And when youâre ready, silently say, âGood night, scents,â and open to happiness flowing through you. PAUSE Gently shift your focus and become aware of the sensations in the room. The warmth of your bed; the coolness of the air a cushy pillow that eases and supports your head, maybe a worn blanket that youâve snuggled forever. PAUSE Let these sensations wrap around you, enfold you. Remember how theyâve comforted you, made you feel safe. And when youâre ready, silently say, âGood night, sensations,â and feel warm fuzzies flow through you. PAUSE Now, gently notice the moonbeams glowing on the floors and walls, as you take another breath and cast your eyes above, you see la Luna, the heavenly goddess of the night. PAUSE You know the blessings of the moon and appreciate all her gifts, Night walks in the sand and shimmering waves at sea. So, when youâre ready, you say, âGood night, Luna,â and âthank you.â PAUSE The night is here upon you, Ready to guide you through dreamland, As you float down a river of happiness.
