Sl: Sonce se je bleščalo nad mirnimi vodami Blejskega jezera, ko sta Tadej in Marina hodila po poti, obdani s cvetočimi češnjevimi drevesi.
En: The sun sparkled over the calm waters of Blejsko jezero, as Tadej and Marina walked along a path lined with blooming cherry trees.

Sl: Bil je čudovit pomladni dan in Bled je bil obdan s spokojnostjo, ki ju je vedno znova privlačila.
En: It was a beautiful spring day, and Bled was surrounded by a tranquility that always drew them in.

Sl: Za Tadeja je bil to kotiček spominov, za Marino pa priložnost za nov začetek.
En: For Tadej, this place was a corner of memories, for Marina, a chance for a new beginning.

Sl: Že od malega sta bila nerazdružljiva.
En: They had been inseparable since childhood.

Sl: A ko se je Marina preselila v tujino zaradi dela, se je njuna vez začela krhati.
En: But when Marina moved abroad for work, their bond began to weaken.

Sl: Krajši klici in odtujeni pogovori so nadomestili skupna praznovanja in domače trenutke.

Sl: Tadej je zdaj stal ob njej, željan vrniti preteklost.

Sl: "Marina, kdaj pa si nazadnje bila tukaj za veliko noč?" je Tadej prekinil tišino.
En: "Marina, when was the last time you were here for Easter?" Tadej broke the silence.

Sl: "Mmm, ne vem... Morda pred tremi leti?" Odgovor je bil previden, kakor da ne želi drezati v čase, ki so bili predolgo pozabljeni.
En: "Mmm, I don’t know... Maybe three years ago?" Her reply was cautious, as if she didn't want to probe into times long forgotten.

Sl: Uspeh in kariera sta ji pomenila veliko, a zdaj je občutila prazen prostor tam, kjer so nekoč bile družinske vezi.
En: Success and career meant a lot to her, but now she felt an empty space where family bonds once were.

Sl: Hodila sta naprej in Tadej je na koncu zbral pogum.
En: They continued walking, and Tadej finally gathered the courage.

Sl: "Vem, da te kariera osrečuje," je rekel, ko sta se usedla na klop s pogledom na otoško cerkev.
En: "I know your career makes you happy," he said, as they sat on a bench overlooking the church on the island.

Sl: "Ampak zdi se mi, kot da si pozabila, kako pomembni smo ti domači."
En: "But it seems to me like you've forgotten how important your family is to you."

Sl: Marina je dolgo molčala, medtem ko so se njune misli usklajevale z valovanjem vode.
En: Marina was silent for a long time as their thoughts harmonized with the rippling water.

Sl: "Nikoli nisem pozabila. Ampak ... ni vedno bilo lahko," je priznala.
En: "I never forgot. But... it hasn’t always been easy," she admitted.

Sl: "Včasih sem se počutila, kot da moram izbirati med vami in svojo prihodnostjo."
En: "Sometimes I felt like I had to choose between you all and my future."

Sl: Zrak med njima je postal težji, a ob tem tudi lažji, saj sta si upala izmenjati občutke, ki so ju pestili predolgo.
En: The air between them became heavier, yet also lighter, as they dared to exchange feelings that had troubled them for far too long.

Sl: "Nisi sama. Tukaj sem," je odločno dejal Tadej, "samo želim, da veš, da te vedno podpiram."
En: "You’re not alone. I'm here," Tadej stated firmly, "I just want you to know that I always support you."

Sl: "Zavedam se. In želim biti del tvojega življenja, čeprav iz daljave." Marina je nato dodala: "Obljubim, da bom večkrat obiskala in klicala."
En: "I know. And I want to be a part of your life, even from afar." Marina then added, "I promise I'll visit and call more often."

Sl: Nasmeh je zaigral na Tadejevem obrazu.
En: A smile played on Tadej's face.

Sl: Občutil je toplino starih časov, zdaj pomešano z razumevanjem in sprejemanjem trenutnih razmer.
En: He felt the warmth of old times now mixed with understanding and acceptance of the current situation.

Sl: "Morda ne tako pogosto, kot smo si včasih predstavljali," je rekel, "ampak dovolj, da čutimo, da je to pomembno."
En: "Maybe not as often as we once imagined," he said, "but enough to feel that it matters."

Sl: S skupnim pogledom na lepe kotičke Slovenije in ob obeti prihodnjih spominov sta vstala.
En: With a shared gaze at the beautiful corners of Slovenia and the prospects of future memories, they stood up.

Sl: Nebo je postajalo rdečkasto, razlivajoče toploto večernega sonca v njuna srca.
En: The sky turned reddish, spreading the warmth of the evening sun into their hearts.

Sl: Vsak njun korak nazaj k vsakdanjiku je bil lažji, z obljubo, da bosta zdaj bolje razumela odločitve drug drugega ter bila bolj prisotna v življenju, kljub kilometrom med njima.
