Encore: Digital Detox with Gabriel Seidman

Encore: Digital Detox with Gabriel Seidman

This episode was so fun to record. I got to interview my friend and Doctor of Public Health, Gabriel Seidman, regarding his 3-week digital detox. Gabriel shares the physical symptoms he noticed after working 24/7 on the computer when the pandemic broke out in March 2020. He shares how he designed his detox and his biggest noticings after abstaining from computers, smart phones, tablets and TVs. I loved diving deeper with Gabriel and discussing how scary it is to slow down and listen to ourselves when there aren't distractions. Check out the episode, and let us know your biggest takeaways.

Want to feel more centered? Check out Centered in the City to learn how you can build sustainable daily self-care and mindfulness practices that will help you feel your best from the inside out.

*****

Gabriel Seidman has a Doctorate of Public Health with a focus on health management and policy. Before the pandemic he was living in Rwanda, and since the pandemic started, he has been working on COVID health and economic response, mostly focusing on countries in Africa.
