What Nolan Wells’ Autopsy Proved That Both Sides Ignored

Two autopsies and no cause of death. The independent examination of Nolan Wells found no fractures, no deep tissue injuries, and no lacerations. It found a red discoloration on the back of his skull that two outside forensic experts read completely differently. It could not determine whether Nolan drowned because the structures needed for that determination were unavailable — already examined and retained during the state's autopsy, which is standard procedure in any forensic investigation. The family's team is using the drowning gap to imply physical violence. Law enforcement is using the absence of trauma to close the book entirely.
