Caleb Flynn Trial Day 3: ATF K9 Found WHAT Outside The House?

ATF Special Agent and K9 handler David McMullen testified about the search outside the Flynn home after Ashley Flynn was killed. McMullen said he and K9 Hilton thoroughly searched around the house and along the nearby wood line, and Hilton did not alert in any of the areas they checked outside.

The testimony matters because prosecutors allege Caleb Flynn staged Ashley's death to resemble a home-invasion burglary, while the defense maintains an intruder killed her. McMullen's testimony gives jurors one more piece of the search effort, but an absence of a K9 alert does not by itself establish who was or was not at the property.

Bureau of Criminal Investigations DNA specialist Lindsay Koennig also testified about the forensic testing inside the home. Koennig said she tested DNA collected from doorknobs and other surfaces and analyzed known DNA samples from Ashley and Caleb Flynn. No additional DNA conclusions were provided in the testimony details supplied for this cut.

Caleb Flynn has pleaded not guilty to all charges in the death of his wife, Ashley Flynn.
