R.C. Horsch Put THIS in a Book Before They Found Lye in His Olney Basement

The father published the method. The son inherited the house. Five women appear dead on the hard drives. And nobody opened the door until a parking violation forced it.

Raymond “R.C.” Horsch—National Merit Scholar, IQ of 140, convicted counterfeiter, meth cook, fugitive, filmmaker—spent decades recruiting women from Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood to appear in his violent films and photos. He paid them with cash and drugs. He called the violence simulated. In 2014, he published a book under his own name describing how to strangle a woman and dissolve her body in a basement bathtub with lye.

R.C. died in May 2025 at eighty-two, uncharged with any violent crime. His son Eugene, born in New Zealand while R.C. was living under a stolen identity, was left with the house at 417 West Chew Avenue in Olney.

On June 19, 2026, a park ranger at Independence Mall pulled Eugene over. Ghost guns, fake DEA credentials, and a woman carrying a missing person’s ID were inside the car. The search of the house found a 55-gallon drum connected to water lines in the basement, containers of chemicals, and more than one million digital files.

Seven women have been linked to the property. Police say footage shows five of them appearing lifeless. The figure in the videos is R.C., not Eugene. No remains have been recovered. Eugene faces federal gun and credential charges and has not been charged in connection with any of the women.

A 1985 federal psych evaluation called R.C. “consumed by anger” and “excessively controlling.” Prosecutors re-read that file in 2009. Seven years later, his ex-wife Amy McHale vanished from the house. Her family reported it. Police interviewed R.C. and moved on.

The FBI has reviewed thirty percent of the evidence. The rest is waiting.
