#IIDM #Digital #Marketing A novel coronavirus (COVID-19) was identified in 2019 in Wuhan, China. This is a new coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans. As the effects of Covid -19 are felt around the world the Real estate is being impacted in many different ways, depending on the region and asset class. I realized that we are facing a new reality and that this reality holds within it great business opportunities, there is a need to reconstruct how we operate and there is an opportunity for creating a new business or work value in the Real estate industry. The housing situation in most African countries is characterized by overcrowding, inadequate and dilapidated infrastructures, poor access to essential services such as water supply, electricity, and sanitation facilities. Covid-19 is a highly contagious viral disease that requires sustainable isolation and social distancing for it to be effectively contained, especially in overpopulated cities. Most low-income and middle-income houses in Lagos, for example, were not designed to meet these requirements. This has a negative effect on the spread of these diseases and as such people will move and demand house types that meet the isolation and distancing requirements.
